Lone Star Models is to release a 1/48th Chance Vought XF4U Corsair prototype resin conversion set for the Tamiya Birdcage kit.

This is the set of patterns for the forthcoming 1/48 XF4U Corsair prototype kit. This will follow shortly (fingers crossed) after the O-47. It is a heavy conversion for the Tamiya Birdcage kit. You will use the main landing gear and gear doors, 3 blade prop,Open or closed flaps, part of cowling engine cylinders, and all tail surfaces One of the wings is completed and in mold rubber . Except for rescribing, the fuselage is finished. Just a little more work on the wing centersection is needed and it will be finished.
