Found an image on-line that maybe you've seen but if not here it is;

Looks to me as if the later Mk.59 aircraft had the LACG undersides with the top colours wraping around the wing leading edges in the same manner as found on the RAF FGA.9

that is exactly what I was searching for!
 

I have seen this photo, but that one was way too small...

 

this seems to confirm what I am thinking for some time now.... the Hunters found derelict in Iraq were unfortunately without wings... but the lower color does not seem to be HSS..... faded or not!
