sig226
How accurate is the Italeri MH-47 Chinook for a SOF Chinook ? ; any issues with it or can it be built pretty much OOB? regards , Simon
Dave Fleming
You need to watch what era kit you get. The original one had the wrong shaped main rotor blades, but halfway through the Revell production run they changed it to the correct profile. I think the latest Italeri release had these too. There are a few other issues, like the engine exhausts not being correct. There was a guy on the ARC site doing a cracking build of one, but I don’t recall him finishing it
sig226
thanks Dave, I have the Italeri version and I seem to recall from the dim recesses of my brain something being wrong with the TFR radar pod as well, hence the post
Dave Fleming
Seems to be the back end - this is the thread I was talking about on ARC http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/138276-mh-47e The chap building it said in 2010 he needed some time to get it finished, not sure he ever did.
