Time has finally come to start those builds though I suspect a few may have sort of started already! :wicked: The urge is great.

We currently have 32 builds broken up into;

13 - Recon/AWACS/Elint

3 - Nightfighters

8 - Ship Killers

8 - Tank Busters

Well done everyone so far....now just a few more nightfighters.

Ok good luck everyone, hope yo all have a great build and lets see if we can get all these builds into the gallery!!

Would a South African rooikat be allowed? These vehicles were specifically designed to fullfil the reconnaissance AND tank killer roles.

Does mean you're building two? :D

I plan to build a Frog P-61 Black Widow after my Ju87G is done

Well, either a P-61 or a F4U-5N

That will be fine, is it the Trumpeter 1/35th one? I've got one of those and I really must finish it...just needs painting.

Thanks Rich, I will start a thread later on as we are working on a maths test today, so to incentivise the learning, each correctly completed  section will be rewarded with doing a section on the Arado !

As for me I have a FW200 Condor to finish in the Maritime GB, and 3 unstarted trainers in the Trainers GB that I am co-hosting ! :frantic: However I promise to find something today, and obviously will seek permission to join first ! :bleh:

cheers Pat

Does this count as a ship killer?

More of a sub hunter but subs are ships, aren't they?  Also it could be torpedo, bomb and rocket attack aircraft.

So if I can get confirmation that it's classed as being within the 25% rule, I'll pick up where I left off!

if that is close to 25% I'd like to see you finish it in the remaining 75... :D

are you got me with that one.......but I can't see why not, so off you go and start a build thread.

Yessir!

Any pitfalls I should know about?

It's actually not a bad model, free from the common Trumpeter issues!

Hopefully, this GB will provide the incentive to finally complete another of the long-neglected builds that I started for the Sea King STGB many moons ago!
It worked last year with the HAR.3 Grey Whale for the RAF 100 GB - so this time around, it would be the ASaC.7, as originally seen here:

With virtually nothing having been done to it since, the current state of play is:

So if I can get confirmation that it's classed as being within the 25% rule, I'll pick up where I left off!

gee I'd almost say you'd make the 5% rule! She's fine, off you go as well and start a build thread.

I know it’s the 13th hour, and I’m a little late to the party, but would a late entry be acceptable?

I have three kits (well that’s obviously an enormous understatement!) that fit this builds requirements and I’ve needed a poke to start.

I have the new Airfix 1/48 Blenheim waving at me, a Trumpeter Gannet and the venerable Airfix 1/72 BV141 pleading to be started. so a nightfighter and two recce!

Question is, which one?

As they say, in for a penny, in for a pound!

So, the motley trio.

I shall start with the BV141, then progress from there!
