I gather that proposals gathering a certain threshold of support go forward to a vote, annually I assume, or @Enzo Matrix just approves them, but I've no idea when the next vote is. Post up the topic in Group Build Chat, you'll see other proposal threads there. I'd be in for it as well, I have a Soviet AT-40 Flying Tank for it.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello @Churchill ... Yes propose a group build or single type. The standard group build needs 30 sign ups to qualify for a vote in November every year. Single type builds once they reach 25 sign-ups. Automatically move forward to an assigned date, chosen by you and enzo.
Valkyrie
Just love it when it passes into the month a new GB starts...tonight the research books for the topics will be looked then a stash inventory. Probably be more sensible to do it the other way, but then specific new purchases would be ruled out.

On friday night I shopped for a kit I can finish as a recce or a shipkiller to go along my nightfighter
Churchill
Ok, the SYWWTGTWI GB is now up for discussion in GB chat. We can stop derailing Mr @trickyrich's thread
GREG DESTEC
Jeez! This year is moving along fast, and I see this GB is good to go in a couple of weeks😲 I have a Revell/Hasegawa 1/48 Hs 129 which as far as I know a ground attack specialist. Would this do for the GB?? If not there's a couple of nightfighters I could do instead..... Cheers Greg 👍

I've had this one for a while so it will be good to get it done. Night fighter side I have a BP Defiant, Hellcat, Bf 110G4 and a Me 262B. So plenty to choose from as as second build 😁 Looking forward to the start now. Greg 🍺
Threadbear
Could I enter this with a reconaissance vehicle? I have a number in the Stash! Daimler Dingo, Humber Scout Car, M3 Scout Car, M8 Armoured Car, M20 Scout Car?
trickyrich
as long as they were classed and used as Recon vehicles then they'll be fine.

trickyrich
you're not wrong there!!! Though I may only build the Viggen for this one as I do want to build the Typhoon for the Sharky GB. Alistair, the Hs-129 B2 is fine, they were pretty much a specialist ground attack/tank killer right from the start.
Valkyrie
Okay so specialist ship category I have ruled out the Trumpeter SU-33 with Krypton missiles, still not brave enough to attempt that, so either 3 Armada Skyhawks with Mk 82s or the Fw 190 Torpedo Bomber.....

CliffB
I'm looking forward to this one starting. I'm quite keen to build a 1/100 scale entry for each of the four categories, but am struggling a bit with the night fighter. The only option that I've got would be to create a single seat Me.262 night fighter (if such things existed). I'm aware of V056, the radar test bed, but were there any operational single seat night fighters? Cheers Cliff

Hi Col, definitely going to go with a matching flight, just researching the codes as I have been amassing Armada decals for this project. Cheers Cliff Cliff, According to Ospreys German Night fighter Aces book the majority of jet nightfighters were standard single seat Me 262As. Commando Welter received 25 plus 8 B models, and Welter himself scored a number of night victories using a single seater without a radar set. cheers Greg 👍

Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello Rich i have a question ? The rules section contains this line. ”No WhatIf or Fictional craft or schemes.” Im doing the He-219 but not a fan of the two schemes in the kit ? Id like to use a different scheme from another Heinkel or Nightfighter type. Would that fall under the fictional scheme rule ? If yes i will stick with what is in the box ?
