Uncle Pete
Per advice from Britmodeller members I've just got a bottle of Lakeland Quick Shine for decal surface prep. I have a victim of dodgy building on the shelf (a 1/63rd scale Blenheim.... It was 1/72 till the paint went on a bit too thick) which will be used for experimental purposes before I subject the current build to it but I just want to double-check... I can spray acrylic matt varnish on top of the wax? Seems a bit Dumbledore to me and I'm worried I might be missing a step somewhere along the way.
PhoenixII
Hi Pete, you shouldn't have a problem, 'Quick Shine' is also acrylic, so it's like for like, and by spraying the varnish, it'll dry very quickly, just don't flood the area.
