RidgeRunner
Hi all, I just realised that I never posted any image of my Ouragan build from a couple of years ago. So, to put things right .... I am not proud of this one. Maybe that is why I didn't post it at the time ;). Martin

Jinxman
Nice looking scheme - if my Heller one from the stash scrubs up that well I'll be ecstatic.
AdriaN (MLT)
would you believe... i am building the Ouragan, but from Heller. A rare subject dont you think? going to be finished in Patouille de france markings.
RidgeRunner
Ah ha, that sounds good too, Adrian. Its a cute little fighter. My emphasis has been on Latin operators, hence the El Salvador colours. Good luck wit yours! Martin

Fin
Great job, really! Considering the rarity of the subject too I would have liked to see more photos. How was the kit to build?
tomthounaojam
Love it, a very hard to get kit. I once made an Indian Version, will try to upload mine once i locate the kit.
RidgeRunner
Hi chaps. I’ll get my camera out when I get a few minutes :). Thanks for all your comments. I’m still not convinced I deserve them, though. Martin
glatisant
Good stuff. Nothing wrong with that build. Would choose the Heller kit myself. The Valom kits I've built have been time consuming more than anything else.

jean
Great show on this more French than French plane! Did you add the riveting, or is Valom the guilty party? I love it! JR
Oldone
I would be proud of a build like that, it looks good to me.
Wez
Martin, Another really nice effort from you, lovely job. Love the subject, not so sure about the kit though, not a fan of all those so called rivets (scaled up they'd be divots). How did the kit go together? Does it offer more detail than the Heller kit (which wouldn't be difficult)? Good to see some unusual forces stuff!
RidgeRunner
Hi all, thanks again for the boost in confidence with this one. As I recall it was pretty straight forward to build. It suffered from the usual lack of locating lugs but otherwise fine. I agree, the rivets are horrendous! I have no knowledge of the Heller kit so cant compare. This one does come with resin cockpit and wheel wells. Martin

RidgeRunner
Maybe, then, the Valom is not so bad. At least it has engraved panel lines, Adrian. By the way, I like your F-105 image Martin
