There was a more fundamental problem that I only noticed this morning - I'd glued the gear doors on in the wrong position. They were protruding forward of the gear box section when they should of protruded rear wards. I've sorted that now...doh!

Thanks Steve, yes, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. There's lots of bits that I'm not happy with but considering the base I was working with, I never thought it would look this good overall 

 

Just the mid upper and ADF loop housing to do now and it's done :)

You most certainly are Bill!

 

At last, she's finished. 10 months on the bench, I'm sick of looking at her, but pleased with the result. She's in the RFI section HERE
