1/72 - A.I. Mikoyan E-166 by Modelsvit - released

As follow on to the E-152 family (link) Modelsvit is to release a 1/72nd A.I. Mikoyan E-166 kit - ref.720??

Seen at Brovary model exhibition 2018 between E-152-1 (ref.72036) & E-152M (ref.72030) models.

I asked Modelsvit about this when they first got announced and they said they hadn't planned on releasing the E-166... so I will be happy if they are now! As will @Flankerman

Saw this was displayed at Moson, great to see that it'll soon be released. Duly pre-ordered, (10% discount at Hannants)....to go with all the others.

I would love Modelsvit to do all these Soviet prototypes in 1/48.

 

I have seen what they can do in 1/72 and it is great.

 

I guess it is too much to ask.
