Don't be so quick to divest yourself of that already started kit. Given a current trend I've seen in Czech model manufacturers, the "new tool" kit will likely be nothing more than the existing plastic and the addition of a new runner with parts to replace the resin and PE of the original release. Any shortcomings in the kit's original styrene parts will likely still be there. 1 minute ago, upnorth said: Edited February 19, 2018 by upnorth 3
ICMF
That was my immediate thought, too. The catalogue doesn't say it's a new tool, it says it's a "new tool".

Sturmovik
I guess that if Kinetic doesn´t release their 1:48 version, the SH new tool will do. I hope this mould includes mounting pegs for the horizontal stabilisers, less photoetch, and maybe only resin seats. If possible none, but that's wishful thinking. Fulcrum@
1/72 for SH and 1/48 for Kinetic, no problem for them only for my wallet...

Sturmovik
Any news regarding this kit? It's been a year since the last "update" on this topic. Hopefully SH hasn't dropped the project.
Piotr Mikolajski
No boxarts were published so apparently no release this year. In such case wait till the January 2022 newsletter where announcements will be made.
