Britman
Pictures purchased from Flight magazine purchased by my father years ago. He was responsible for the codes when stationed in Germany so was pleased to get some nice pics that had previously been published in the magazine. Good comparisons of Mk9 and 10 Meteors. Max Headroom
Really cool pictures! I’m doing a PR.10 for the BM@10 Group build and that top photo is the bees knees for me. Thanks for sharing. Trevor
Max Headroom
I’ve just been comparing Britman’s PR.10 photo (see link earlier in this thread) with the nose as grafted onto my build. As moulded, it is of course applicable for an F.8. It appears that not only is a large part of the side flat, but that the camera window is actually in a hollow. I think some serious filing is in order with the ‘lip’ having to be built up again. Unless anyone can say otherwise, I’m assuming the other side’s the same. Out of curiosity, does anyone have a photo of how MPM tackles this? Regards Trevor
Dave Fleming
The FR9 and PR10 had the same nose, so whilst no PR10s survive, there are a few FR9s to compare e.g at Newark 1
