Ryan Hothersall
The 1:72 Hasegawa kit of the MiG-21F-13 built in Czechoslovak markings. One feature of most of the MiG-21F-13s built in Czechoslovakia was that the clear bit behind the canopy was faired over, which the Hasegawa kit has. Built wise a very simple kit, no issues with the build. The fairing at the top of the fin should be sanded off flush with the fin as MiG-21s did not have one there, and the undercarriage should have an extra strut which is not included in the kit. This also makes the undercarriage stronger. Overall colour is Tamiya XF-16 Aluminium. Decals are from a sheet made by KP Models for Czechoslovak MiG-21F-13s. No issues with these decals. https://www.hobbyshop.cz/shop/6863-large_default/mig-21f-13-fishbed-c-csaf-1-72-decal.jpg Build Progress Photos MiG-21F-13-40 by Ryan Hothersall, on Flickr MiG-21F-13-41 by Ryan Hothersall, on Flickr MiG-21F-13-42 by Ryan Hothersall, on Flickr MiG-21F-13-44 by Ryan Hothersall, on Flickr MiG-21F-13-45 by Ryan Hothersall, on Flickr

Dazey
Nice MiG-21. These early MiG-21s look fantastic in profile. I didn't know Hasegawa had an F-13 kit (I have a Revell one waiting to be done). Regards, David
