rockpopandchips
Cheers guys for all the great feed back on the dio. I have just sold one of my Dragon momoko gundam kits so I have splashed out on some proper resin from CFS and some woodland scenics fine leaf foliage, a bit extravagance i know but Im realy getting into the diorama thing and I want to try out some resin 3D artwork. rockpopandchips
Cheers all, finished off the other 2 trees and ground cover. Aerial shot shows how much difference the dio now looks.
rockpopandchips
Some better WIP pictures and l have made a started on painting the river bed. Turns out the kids gym mat makes a good back ground.
Thud4444
That looks incredible. As big as the base is any thought to adding more than one MS? Maybe a Gogg to go with the Zgok? Or a GM to ambush?
Pete in Lincs
It is looking very nice now, all coming together. Not sure if you've seen this, I think it kind of connects to your build. Based on this kit which I now really need! https://hlj.com/search/go?p=R&srid=S1-1DFWP&lbc=hobbylink&w=bandai efgf&url=%2f%2fhlj.com%2fproduct%2fBAN948085&lgsku=BAN948085&rk=1&uid=180010005&sid=2&ts=rac-data&SLIPid=1520018281657&lgkey=http%3a%2f%2fhlj.com%2fproduct%2fBAN948085&rsc=BhkCcfIfLTA%3aqo82&cnt=8&method=and&isort=rac&filter=nonadult%3a1&rt=racclick
Hunter Rose
This is looking seriously good Brian! @Pete in Lincs those uc hardgraph kits are all good, especially as they come with 1/35 gundam bits! The anti ms squad is cool as it comes with a hand and forearm

Brundledonk
Very nice indeed, I'm really enjoying this and looking forward to seeing it all come together. Those trees are excellent by the way. Pete
rockpopandchips
Eventually got around to painting the Z'Gok using a mix of grey and blue. And one test fitted on the base to see how it looks.

Cheers, I have thought about adding another MS but just can make my mind up, the fact that I don't have one in the stash is not helping either. Thanks for pointing that one out, that is really a very nice build. I have a 1/100 version of the hover tank and a ground type RX79 that I will be doing a 8th MS team dio with at some point . I've got them in 1/144 and 1/100 but I'd still really like a 1/35 one....to sit in my attic an never get built. 2
Pete in Lincs
If I get one it will be the 1/35th. It's cheaper than I thought. And I too wonder when I would build it. I like the test fit above. Is there more 'water' to come? I feel you'll need 'disturbed water' downstream of the model.

Yes i will be using resin for the water and i will be adding white water , splashing water and water running off the MS.....fingers crossed...gulp!
rockpopandchips
Finished painting the Z'Gok and added the lights. I need to fix it to the base, do i use epoxy glue? Will it react with the resin when i add it?
Hunter Rose
Cool! And no epoxy shouldn't react with the resin after its fully cured
Will Vale
For some reason that reminds me of Maximilian, despite the blue. Scary! I like the base too, the way you've laid it out it has a good organic feel. cheers, Will
