Thanks Patrice - Not many to choose from then??

I have been busy this morning and found a CH-46 so I'm now looking to build a jet for this GB. Might just have to put in on the list for Santa :santa:

I guess it won't be too difficult to choose a jet in the list above , I can recommend you the Hasegawa Starfighter I built one last year and had no problems ..

Cheers

I’m going to have a go at the Hubble Space Telescope as a scratch project for my long term stash queen Tamiya 1/100 Orbiter.

Good evening Mark

It seems a very interesting project ..

Im going to build my recent acquistion of this.

Just need to settle on Markings ? Im not sure about the Kits decals (neither the schemes or quality) so will have to have a back-up. Im angling towards a couple of options. 59th FIS

Korean war ?

61st FIS

4th FIS

Liking the last two the most. I feel fairly confident that i can make up everything up either with paint, or spares from the decals.

This sounds like a good excuse to build that F-22 I have somewhere in the stash...if I can find it first!

Cheers,

Bill

Good morning Bill

You still have plenty of time to find it (or buy another one ...) ..

Cheers

Hi Patrice,

Apologies, I may have to bow out of this GB due to the kits I have and how they fit into this year's GB schedule. However, if I find myself ahead of schedule and free of time, I will purchase something suitable.

Cheers

I had missed this and without exception when I have said I will join a GB life comes along and says no way.  However I do have a 1/32 Trumpeter P-38 I was planning on starting - if not finishing as thats a whole other game - in the next month so I could put a hold that till the start of this GB and while making no promises I will try and tag along but inevitably being left behind !  Still might get it started so fingers crossed

:post1: From Chicago. I built my Academy T-33 a few years ago when i came back to modeling. It goes together fairly well. The cockpit is a bit sparse on detail so you can dress it up or leave it thats your choice. Watch for the seams around the engine split behind the wing.  If i were building it again id glue the front and rear fuselage pieces together then to left/right in that order. It would help eliminate that seam/misalignment. Besides that you should be all good.

Thanks for the advice.  I have a PE Set and new seats for the cockpit and decals for the scheme I want.

Supposed to be a quicker build while I try and figure out which shark mouth to enter in.
