Good morning Sgt Squarehead

Thank you for your comment ..

I made a few progresses since my last update I finished to place the decals , I weathered the tracks I added a tank commander , I worked on the display stand that I had salvaged from an old Matchbox kit ..

Excellent work sir!  :coolio:

Is that an old Matchbox base?  I thought I knew them all, but I don't think that I've seen that one before.

PS - Surely he should be going toward Paris, from Cherbourg?  ;)

Have to agree about the figures, yours looks so much better for the Tank Commander, now wishing I had put one on mine, but then again I don't have any 1/72 figures of any kind, let alone Tank Commanders, and time is running out on this STGB, armour is not my normal thing, but I have enjoyed this one a lot.

OK, went there and was interested in the first 2 sets, but the postage cost was £20 with the figures being £14, seems way over the top, I know they are white metal and a bit heavy, but come on :o

@Graeme H  How about these, from eBay, the seller is in Australia (and he's been reliable for me, even on small orders, half way around the world):

With deepest apologies to Patrice for the thread drift

Thanks Sarge, I deal with them through their ordinary store where they are slightly cheaper, and have some great stuff there as well, opening up a whole new world
