Hi folk's,Frog's ancient Typhoon as it used to be done,I really wanted to keep it original but the prop was missing parts so used a spare airfix one

as well as the decals.

KORA resin Hawker Hart trainer in Egyptian service...Vallejo paints; some Flory Wash Sand; EZ-Line and sprue for rigging...I am sure I have forgotten something.  This was a fun build and only one of two or three resin kits I have built (maybe four).  It is a dirty bird and I hope you don't hold that against me.  I am not one for factory-fresh aircraft.

Hi all,

Completed 1/48 Monogram classic Hawker Typhoon, OOB with some added detailing to the rockets, plus the addition of a spare Tamiya Pilot figure.

Brush painted old school except the primer (rattle can) and the matt coat (airbrush).

Hawker Hurricane Mk. 1B

880 NAS, HMS Indomitable May 1942, and with the Yellow fin now at the Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire.

1/48 Airfix Sea Hurricane,  from the box with added seat belts, head rest and oil collector. Paint from Mr Color, kit decals modified and serial number home printed.

Probably the first of many iterations of the New Airfix kit to appear here but well deserved as its a great kit.

To follow up with Colin...here is the second of the Airfix Hurricanes to make their entrance...

Except for some EZLine as the radio antennae, a bit of sprue for the rudder cables in the rear and some slips of masking tape for seatbelt, completely OOB.

Paints are Vallejo Air Medium Olive, Golden Brown, White and Black and Yellow.  This was my very first Hurricane after decades of building and I am very pleased with the result.

This Airfix kit pretty much built itself.  Very few fit problems, if any.  Minor amounts of putty...I love that Airfix is competing with the aftermarket folks on things like wheels that look right and have the little flattened-bulge from sitting on the landing area.

My only complaint is the decals that are being offered with these new kits.  I have run into this on the Gladiator and the BE-2c.  Register is spot-on, colours are nice but they are very thick.  I had to use several layers of Microsol to get the roundels to sink in nicely.  They also take a while to un-adhere from their paper.  However, they did finally behave and so, it is done.  I present, Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, VY-C, No.85 Squadron, RAF, Advanced Air Striking Force, Lille-Seclin, France, May 1940.

Please enjoy!

I present MisterCraftKit Hawker Hunter F.Mk.6, 1/72nd scale.  This will be my third and final entry into this very fun and very fine Group Build.  Many thanks to the moderators and hosts for a good one...

The WiP said it all. I almost gave up on this.  The kit itself is such #$&*@# that I grew frustrated early on.  I persevered, however, and I think it turned out quite well.

Vallejo Air all around, OOB except for a tiny piece of the pitot tube.  Pin washed with oils.

Without further ado...No. 22 Squadron, No.9 Fighter Wing, Belgian Air Force, Bierset 1960:

And with some of its family...Hart and Hurricane...

Next up...Buffalos and Spitfires of the 453rd...see you all there!

Airfix 1/48 Sea Hurricane. Mostly OOB, just added seat belts and the antenna wire, kit decals. Nice kit and a quick, easy, enjoyable build. Painted with Mr Paint for the EDSG and dark slate grey, and Gunze for the sky.
