Just got mine from Lucky Model. In box it looks really nice!
So the only bummer is lack of weapons. That said what are the rocket pods used on the Pucara in the Falklands and where can they be sourced?

Pucara's rockets are LAU-61.

They are longer, they measure 1520mm (without cover and tail) and the LAU-3 1220mm

Good info! 👍

From what I can see the only option would be to extend the Eduard/Hasegawa LAU-3s... The market appears to have a gap currently!

Would it be correct to say the standard fit was 2 per pylon?

RATS!!
I was just getting ready to order the Eduard set.
Thanks for saving me from buying a bunch of sets.

I have a question... does anyone know of any 1/48th scale 1980’s SAS figures that could be used to create a Pebble Island raid diorama?

Nah...you'd never see them

For anyone waiting for UK retailers to get the Pucara, it should be this week or so as they've arrived at Hannants. The TwoBobs decal sheet is due to be released next week according to a Facebook post,

Actually 2 and 3 rockets pods mounted on TER depend on the mission and napalm fuel containers

They bought the SHARS, they nicked the Pucara 👍

Nicked? More like uninvited visitors that did not manage to get downed by SHARS.....
