Doc72
Well done! Probably the best Sabre I have seen here. It not just shows an attractive paint scheme, but mainly a very fine airbrush-work and subtle weathering.
k5054nz
I'm not sure I've seen an Iranian Sabre before. I love the camo and markings, they work together very nicely. Great build!

Kampartiger
You're very talented with your airbrush,no doubt about that and the Iranian F-86 painted in the Asia Minor colours is extremely well done (Superb),again no doubt about that. However I do believe you need the Fujimi F-86F40 to make a better representation of an Iranian Sabre. RidgeRunner
No Kampartiger, they had some F-86Es from Germany and passed to Pakistan - I think. SJ - correct me? Martin
Orion
Excellent Sabre, with a very difficult paint scheme, but finished to perfection. My compliments, Orion.

Viking
Really lovely, I'm another who was unaware that Iran used Sabres. Cheers John

stevehnz
I like that scheme a lot. I've this sheet to do similarly but with Ethiopian markings. The sheet recommends use of F-40 kits, but that shouldn't be seen to detract from the wonderful job that Nionios has made of the finish on this. Steve.
RidgeRunner
Yes Steve, I have a Fujimi -40 ready for those Ethiopian marks too ..... once I get through the current Invader, (nearly there), MIGs etc ..... The green is FS34079(H309) , the White-grey FS36622( H311 ) and for the brown i used dark earth H72 and chocolate brown H406 . All colours are gunze. RidgeRunner
Correct, Tony, but they had Iranian matks, didnt they? Martin

After delivery from Germany they were flown to Pakistan for "overhaul" and never mysteriously returned. Tony
