PeterB
Hi Steve, I bought a Microscale sheet for mine and used the black night fighter option. Should still have the silver day fighter decs if you are interested - I will dig them out and post a pic if you are. Pete
PeterB
Hi Steve, Correction to the above. I bought a Microscale sheet for mine and used one black night fighter option. Should still have the other decs if you are interested - I will dig them out and post a pic if you are. Technically for a F82-F of the 52nd All Weather Group, black with a lot of colour as flown by Commanding Officer in 1948. TonyW
Apologies for my lack of attendance here recently. That annoying thing known as the Real World is getting in the way of my modelling at the moment! Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Tony.

Pete That would be great Pete, many thank's.I cleaned up the main parts tonight and pondered whether to build it,there's a few challenges but a black scheme would hide a multitude of sins. Rabbit Leader
All good @TonyW, sadly real world stuff tends to happen and effect all of us. Now wouldn’t the world be a much happier place if everyone started to build plastic kits for a hobby! Cheers and catch up with your projects soon.. Dave.
Andre B
Hi! Got some Frog kits in the stash. Att least one Frog/Revell Ta 152, one Frog Mosquito and a Frog Fairey Gannet. There is also an started Frog/Revell Arado Ar 234 and what I think is an Frog Gruman Bearcat (?). I also have an Frog Sea Fury on the workbench built straight OOB. Painted but still no decals. Wonder if there is possible to join the GB? Cheers / André Edited August 21, 2019 by Andre B

AdrianMF
I’m sorry to say that I think four builds will be my lot for this GB. Too much real life! I have a started Miles Master that is destined to be a Mk II but seeing as @Heather Kay has already turned in a very nice example I will save it for another day. I have really enjoyed this GB and I’ll be signing up for the FROG GB II as soon as it appears! Thank you for all the organisation, encouragement and excellent builds. Regards, Adrian
Heather Kay
That's a pity. I was hoping to see your take on the MkII come to life. It would have been far superior to my rather hacked about effort, pleased with it though I am.

Retired Bob
Things to do on a wet Thursday in Wet North Yorkshire, have a rummage in the shed, looking for some 1/72 weapon sets. Guess what I found in a box that has not been opened 20 years ish. The plastic bag in front of the stack of Lightnings is a Frog Wyvern, how long to the end of the GB... only one month!

Though the Delta Dagger would get my vote if we can persuade Bob to do one! And it would leave one in the stash Cheers, Edited August 22, 2019 by Johnson Grammer!

How goods that stash? Box not opened in twenty years and I reckon all those Frog decals are still usable. Cheers.. Retired Bob
Ok chaps, If we have narrowed down to these two, and yes the decals are all viable, I will have a play and see what is doable with only a month to go, still sanding the Vigilante, hope the dust doesn't get in the keyboard. The special features on the F102, henceforth known as "The Deuce" says the kit includes drop tanks or bombs? They must be missing from mine. I do remember building one of these in the 70s, the missile bay is a real PITA. The special features on the Voodoo are: pilot , drop tanks and undercarriage. They knew how to get a lads pocket money in the 60s.

Had a little play with the Deuce to see how it fits, by eck it's almost a snap fit, just a bit of tape to hold the fuselage together, I think it's doable, sorry the photo is a bit dark but as I said earlier it's a wet day in wet Yorkshire. BTW it is an earlier Deuce with a case X wing if you were wondering, or possibly you have no idea what I'm babbling about. I suppose I should start a WIP.
Jinxman
That looks very good - also surprising how large it is compared with the Vigilante. Good luck!

My first thoughts exactly! A lovely addition Bob and I’m one of those ignorant modellers who does not know what this ‘case wing’ thing is all about. Make sure you do a simple explanation of it when you start your WIP thread. I’ll be needing to update the Build List soon, so will include this one when I eventually get there. Cheers and best of luck.. Dave 2

I will launch a WIP for the Voodoo tomorrow as well, I have found a decal sheet for it that has the polka dot tail on a NM finish, how rude would it be to not include that.

trickyrich
well done Pat, any more pages and you'll have to take your shoes off to count them! I can finally get back to mine as I've cleared 2 on the bigger builds off the bench. I do know one thing that may cause a wee issue at the end on this GB. If you decided to have a vote, the system will only let you have a maximum of 3 seperate polls/questions with 25 choices in each (75 max choices). I found this out when trying to set up the Specialist GB poll up, I wanted 4 categories/questions and it would only let me have 3. Anyway a minor issues for the biggest GB ever held here....well done Pat!
