It is the moaning of donkeys eeoh eehoh. Traditionally all Guernseymen are know as donkeys. Equally all Jerseymen are known as Crappos (pronounced as such written as Crapaud) the Jersey toad. Sounds something like otugh otugh and can be heard with the wind in the right direction in Guernsey by Vince. Laurie

Vince I thought meetings in Guernsey were called to make sure no one made any decisions. Totally different to Jersey. We have meetings to change the last decision that was made. Progress you see. I do think that Jersey will end up with a brand new hospital in Guernsey. That Guernsey will stockpile all its rubbish on Green Island in Jersey together with all the Guernsey Seagulls. roys
Found myself a bottle of diet ginger ale today in M&S Corton Wood. Which after a whole week of waiting for Asda Halifax to be restocked was quite a relief.

Gorby
I think this is brilliant. It brought some cheer on a pretty cheerless day. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-45770028 How I laughed at the shocked expression of the suits. 1
huvut76g7gbbui7
Today the sun was shining and I popped up to Glasgow to photograph the USAF Dornier C-146A which had nightstopped. Met a mate from Prestwick who had come up by train. He got word about good stuff coming in so we shot off to Prestwick to catch a C-5,C-17 and two KC-10s all in lovely light. So nice day, nice aircraft and good company
LaurieS
To day is horrible. Rain, wind and it is cold. Yesterday, warm cloudless sky no wind. The sea as a plate of glass. I went down to the shop below our flats. On the other side of the road are some trees & from the trees came a cacophony of sound from all the sparrows hidden among the leaves. You could not see one but everyone was giving there all, no, respite they just kept up their song. Incredible. Makes you very happy these small creatures obviously happy. Now if that doesn't prove that some people have more money than sense, I don't know what does. John (with more sense than money).
