Thanks for the comments guys. Apologies for the lack of updates, I have had some domestic chores to sort over the past week. I did manage to squeeze a bit of modelling time in over the weekend though and I made a start on adding the decals. I bought this set some time ago and they are sized for the Minicraft kit, but they can be used on Daco's kit with some trimming and adjustment. After adding the main decals and leaving them overnight to dry I cracked on with the cockpit and cabin windows using a set of Authentic Airliner decals for both. I'll try and make a start on the doors tomorrow, but with an improvement in the weather heading our way, gardening duties may be on the cards.

I have made steady progress on this over the past week or so and the majority of the decals and stencils are now on. I have chosen to go with N302AU which was registration code used on this aircraft prior to its change to N949WP, that leaves @Spad the option of using this code should he choose too.

I still have to add the inboard leading edge and light decals, once the clear parts for the lights are fixed in position. After that I can get on with decaling the engines, followed by a coat of clear to seal everything in, before adding the final details like aerials etc. and that should see this one finished.

Hey thanks for that John - that was the identity that I was proposing to use as it happens!

Looking good so far, should look excellent when it's done!

That's OK bud, and thanks for your kind comment. I had few alignment issues on the service side of the aircraft and things got a bit cramped around the forward door, but I think it's because this set is meant to fit the Minicraft kit. To be fair to DACO, they do warn you about this and give details of the necessary corrections, but those changes are to Marge and Bart, so it could also be due to user error. :fraidnot:

Got this one finished but not quite in time for inclusion in the gallery. I had it wrapped up by about 10:15pm, but by the time I had sorted the photos out and resolved a couple of internet issues it was too late. Here are the photos of my completed model.

Well done with this one, I know how hard it is to get the Simpsons characters in their correct places.

Thanks for your comments chaps. Only me to blame for this one not making it into the gallery, we had a lot on this weekend and some poor time management along with internet issues all contributed missing the deadline.  Still, time to get on with the next build.

Thanks to all those who found the time to comment on my build, and for the support and prompt answers to my questions. And a final thank you should go to Ray and Enzo for proposing and organising this GB, it was great fun.

Another cracking model buddy.

Cheers H, it didn't come out too badly in the end. I think that I might attempt the what-if scheme that I have been planning for some time, if I can find a window between GB's.

That looks fantastic John, another great scheme by you!

Thanks Cookie, nice to hear from you, I hope that you are keeping well.

It was fun to do and apart from a couple of self inflicted fit issues with the decals it turned out OK in the end.
