Here you go for those that might want to try an Aussie operated 737. I was at Sydney Airport this afternoon at the spotter's mound, known as Shep's Mound, and caught some 737s

Looks like VXQ has had a radome replacement, it looked like this last year in April (taken at Adelaide)

Also took this at Adelaide in early December last year (another Virgin Australia jet)

Finally, a couple of US airline B737s taken in Honolulu in March last year

The vintage QANTAS scheme is really cool. Here are a few other schemes I've come across during my travels. Flown on a lot of 737s in the last few years.

These are Shanghai Airlines 738s, though I didn't fly on one.

Ruili and Kunming Airlines are two small subsidiaries that operate in Yunnan Province, which is out west and borders Myanmar, Vietnam etc. I flew Ruili Airlines in 2015.

I've taken quite a lot of photos of 737s over the years - I have an album of them on Flickr here - a few of my favourites:

America West 737-100 and 737-200 - Phoenix, 1998:

I really love the original 737 in those pics - something really cool about the engines.

I just got back from Spring Festival vacation & saw a couple of nice 737s at Changsha airport on the way home.

The Shanghai airlines one is taken through the bus window, the China Eastern one from the terminal. That fairly boring white scheme is the current one, compared to the older one with the red stripe in one of my earlier posts.

Our own trip was entirely on Airbus narrowbodies...

Can anybody tell me the purpose of the Coroguard? It sounds like a corrosion protection coating but I thought that was what the paint was all about. Is it slightly grippy? A bit like a full walk area anti-slip coating?

Bemused

Rick (new to airliner builds)
