Corsairfoxfouruncle
I like it ... Was it an easy build im considering one of these in the near future ?
Eagle_Squadron
It was okay, not the easiest. Had a big gap at the wing root I had to fill in with some scrap plastic strip, and the nose landing gear was nearly impossible to fit together right! Other htan that, the only other issue I would note is that the instructions are very vague on the placement of the rear landing gear, so definitely reference some actual photos of the aircraft so that you can place them correctly. 224 Peter
Great photos of a really nice looking model and I agree, the instructions are a bit vague. Thanks also for the "heads up" about the joints and rear legs! I've had this kit in my "future projects" collection since the mid 90s. In a moment of insanity, whilst waiting for the big 1/32 scale Beaufighter to dry I got out the little Ho229 and started to build it. OK, I know it is 1/72, but so much of the detail is tiny. Now I know why I migrated to larger scales! Without magnifying glasses I simply couldn't do it! I plan to finish it as an RAF "What if", assuming that "Winkle" Brown, RN had been able to fly it, as he did with so many other German types. So original markings with RAF markings overlaid.
