Snail pace progress but at least it’s starting to look like a 110...

You will note a very small amount of filler on the joint between the engines and the wings and a small amount of sanding on the nose.   All minor stuff and the engineering is lovely.

Getting there oh so slowly.   Underneath spray painted RLM65 using Vallejo and the wing tips masked and painted yellow.  Looks like a little touching up is required.

Cheers for looking.

What is the Vallejo paint number for the RLM 65 please?

Hi Black Knight.  I should say that I take Vallejo RLM conversion with a pinch of salt but this is the official chart for Model Air.

Pls note I understand Vallejo have given different equivalents in the past.

Error on my previous post the colour is meant to be RLM76 not 65.

A cost of RLM75 on the top (not the recommended Vallejo equivalent (which just looks too dark)) but a slightly lighter grey which was recommended in one of the forums....then a bit of masking....

Now the important question is why am I putting myself through this when I am going to spray the whole damm think white....sods law is that I will lose any hint of the splinter markings underneath...

if if anyone has any hints as to how to do winter camp please let me know.

Well done! Looks a lot like the earlier RLM 02/70 splinter scheme but I know cameras and/or phone screens do nasty tricks to these snapshots - and there's nothing wrong with 02/70 either! V-P

Quite right but in any event it is now buried under about 10 this coats of white....

I think  it looks ok and once the relevant washes and stains are applied should look suitably grubby.

To me eyes Dave, the amount of weathering looks just right  :goodjob:

Slowly but surely she comes together...how much time do I have left?

Two weeks left

I have every confidence that you can finish this well before that
