Hi mates, I am really excited to post here the photos of new DH-88 Comet from Micro Mir. I hope it will help you with the decision if to buy it or not (I hope that it will persuade you for the first option :D ).
I bought it from Ebay (seller chemist_2001) and it was really nice Ebay communication experience. I am on my Christmas holidays so the photos are not perfect - I´ve left my photobox at home. So these are just the mobile photos.
Hope you like it and have a nice festive time with your model kits and families :)

Thanks for posting the pictures of the sprues, will buy this kit as I've always liked the DH-88. The printed instruments are a bit disappointing as usual, surely it would be possible to get a higher resolution reproduction in 2020?

I am currently building it. This is a terrible kit. Plastic and molding are soft. The details, when existent, are drowned into flash. Nothing fits and the kit is now made of 50% plastic, 30% putty and 20% CA glue. Praise to Flory and his sanding sticks !

I do not recommend it for beginner or for people used to Tamiya.

Not sure about what's happening with all those ukrainian brands (sold at very high prices) but this is definitely the last I'm buying, after a similar experience with an Eastern Express Dash 8 Q400. Too bad for them as, at least, they are proposing models not available by mainstream brands. Unfortunately for them, modelling for me is a hobby and not an exercise of frustration.
