Italeri 1/72 Short Sunderland Mk III REUPLOADED PICTURES

Hi,

 

here my first pictures of the Sunderland. Sorry for low qualitiy but have to use my mobile phone camera. At the moment i completed the cockpit, with Eduard parts, and the underbay. Colros are Tamiya and wash from Florymodels.

Ok some update...made quite some works on the kit...yes yes i know...colors are not the right ones...my conversion table was not that accurate as i thought...still i quite like the cammo. I made quite  fews errors on the kit startig with using Eduard external pannels which i had to remove...so now thare are to panel lines for those wing sections...then i had to use putty...a lot of it...Italeri have to wrok about external precision...then i replaced plastic machine guns barrels with metal ones...and last i had to make a cammo pattern...thing i never did and i'm quite new with Iwata compressor and aribrush...but that's it...took me 40 hours to reach this results...and not yet finished

The central gear casings of the engines should be black, not the blue-grey you have used. The Mk.III was powered by the Bristol Pegasus, not American P&W R-1830's.

Excellent work on the Sunderland! I have one I've been doing some building on; I hope it turns out as well as yours is.
