This is my entry for this GB. It is an A-10B Thunderbolt II of the 509 TFS of the 10 TFW based at RAF Alconbury as used during OP Desert Storm Jan/Feb 1991.

1/72 Mil Mi-10. AModel kit, enjoyed building it although a few very brittle detailed parts became a bit tedious to deal with. Biggest model in my collection - good thing the rotor blades are removable, otherwise I'd have no room for it!

A nice kit but a disappointing finish. I am not PE compatible and this was the first AND the last try for me - I have better things to do while building these kits.

 

 

Yep, it's RLM 78, with one drop tank in RLM 65 and the other in RLM 76. Thanks to Black Knight and Enzo Matrix for running the show! Best regards, V-P
