Cheers Keith and John, glad you like her

OK, she's completed now - and I cheated ...

I did give a thorough look at the spare Airfix Sidewinders I have, and they have issues too, and not very easy to correct. So I decided to strategically place RBF tags in a way that they cover the imperfections

Or some of it, anyway...

Looking menacing, isn't she?

Some interiors; here you can see I actually put the control stick in...

Through the canopy: that Alclad Aqua Gloss is great stuff, I tells ya!

Testing a base idea for the show:

But I'm not really convinced, I'll have to come up with a better idea.

Comments welcome, as ever

That's a stunner Giorgio, really cracking build again!

And the RBF tags aren't a cheat they're an absolute necessity with that load out - & the perfect finishing touch!!

What's going to be next on the bench?

Absolutely gorgeous Giorgio - she's a beauty - and the detailing has really paid off, again! :)

He's beaten me to it again.

Excellent build and result. If I'm not mistaken it'll be a Skyray next, beautiful design.

Cheers John

Keith, Ced and John: thank you guys, much appreciated! John's the winner, next one is going to be the Tamiya 1/72 Skyray

I'll post an RFI for the A-10 soon-ish, I think I'll first attend this local show during the WE

Good luck at the show Giorgio - if you don't win a prize we'll want to know why! :)

Oh that's easy, I already know the answer: there's going to be a lot of great models! I participated at the same show two years ago, winning a bronze with Sandy Bay-Bee (F-4C in 1/72), and there were some real masterpieces in all the categories

Great work Giemme, hope that it gets a prize, it deserves it.

So it`s the Skyray next, one must keep the daughter happy mate.

Simon.

Thanks Simon  Exactly, must keep the youngest daughter happy

What an update Giorgio!!!!

She's gorgeous!!!!!!

I like the paint work and all  the detail given by the open panels , flaps and weaponry.

About the stand, I'd go for something light.

The tiger's a bit too much...I'd say baroc...  it catches  your eye and diverts your attention from what's above it.

The Sqn badge is Ok, but a wooden finish may be enough. You may add a pilot...or a helmet on the base, close to the steps.

Anyway looks great!

What next?

The final A-10 looks great and I can't wait to watch you building the Skyray.

Cheers Ramon, glad you like her! The Skyray will have to wait a few days, though.

:worthy: Beautifully Impressive ! Maybe change the photo on the base to a smoking Iraqi Tank from Desert storm ?

You may have a point, Dennis. And thank you!

Thanks Massimo  I agree the tiger base is too much, I'm just a little short on time, I'm supposed to drop the models off to the show tomorrow morning ... Printing a background at the moment is the quickest solution, I'll select a different one

Next is a Tamiya Skyray in 1/72, BTW

I'm not into making wing'ed things, but I do appreciate the 'beauty' of certain aircraft. The A10 is one of those iconic pieces of hardware that really ticks the boxes,  and you've done the breed proud.

Superb craftsmanship Giorgio.
