Dave Fleming
For an aircraft that only operated with a handful of Squadrons, the FR9 has a good range of interesting marking options, including the export versions

Dave Fleming
Just to note the colour scheme details on the Airfix page are still the original catalogue drafts, the 2 Squadron scheme is the lighter MSG/Light Slate Grey over PRU blue one. Haven’t checked them all yet, but if doing WB116/G, use the kit decals for the squadron badge on the intake. It should be red with a yellow outline and knot insignia. Also, the ‘G’ tailcode should be outlined in white and the fin bullet should have a red front. will get a 72 set though Edited September 11, 2018 by Dave Fleming

My NF 11/13 set arrived late last week, looks to be as advertised, and very usable. The odd little bubble in some of the resin, but nothing fatal. As he freely says on his Ebay page, his product is cottage industry resin, not Aires, Eduard etc. I will pick up his NF.14 set when he gets it out. Homebee
Kevin Martin aka 109ace Meteor NF.14 resin conversion set for Airfix kit is now available. This set consist of barely modified resin copies from the Classic Airframes Meteor NF.11/13 original plastic & resin parts (cockpit resin details+front fuselage+wings external panels etc.) with a new vacuform canopy and a extended nose. Furthermore the upper fuselage area after the cockpit is desperately missing the NF.14 canopy rather distinctive as prominent sliding rails system. To be honest I'm not convinced, to say the least, by what I see (a partly copycat work...) and waiting now for an hypothetical Aerocraft Models conversion set. Alisdair what are you doing? Well Homebee, a few Meteor Mk's are in the pipeline 😉 including a Mk.14, however good things take time and I have a small matter of T.7 Hunters and versions thereof to get done before as well as a few other small projects. Sigh............the full time job gets in the way a little but it does help pay the bills........ Ali
