PhantomBigStu
Missed this one, but now have a kit and should have time to get one done. Edited January 30, 2018 by PhantomBigStu
PhantomBigStu
Opened it up, some goodies were inside was only aware of the Eduard mask in the listing. Edit checked and the listing didn’t mention or show them so either a mistake or a generous seller . PhantomBigStu
Underside done, now just to touch any overspray up and to do the tanks, hoping I can brush them silver without it being noticeable
Rob G
I envy you your abilty to build so quickly Stu. It takes me a weekend to get the plastic wrap off the box. Looking good there, here's hoping that it continues well for you!

My speed has fallen now I’m a student again, taken me a over a week to start the new airfix phantom.....had two assignments due this week, touch ups are done but having canopy problems, finding it hard to fill the canopy gap without the filler being visible inside...... PhantomBigStu
No progress, the tail started getting to its limit of times it could be dislodged and reglued, in the end have had to overload the superglue, sand and then brush paint the under side silver, hopefully be ready for decalling finally later

PhantomBigStu
And it’s done, one thing great about the italeri kit is you built it wheels up there’s a nice precut hole that’s the perfect dimensions for a few stands I have spare. First model of 2018 finally (where the heck did January go?) also here’s the first one I did way back in late 2015
MarkSH
Looks good, the orange on the tanks really sets off the whole model.
Giorgio N
Nice one ! While it may not be the most accurate kit around, what I love of the Italeri/Esci Starfighter is that it can be built really quick and leads to a good looking model. Yours is one such example
