Mildenhall visitor.  Not sure why when scanning the negs that the left side becomes over exposed. My original prints from these same negs don't suffer this way.

Ah, yes, Paul, that was Farnborough week I think when the Moroccan Fennecs, Spaniards, etc were at Blackbushe. 1978? I recall some ex-Belgian Pembokes there and a couple of Indian Spitfires?

I remember the Pembrokes. I think I can find a couple pics of at least one. But never saw the Spits. Maybe they ended up elsewhere .   The Mitchellls were great to record . Also around late 77 or 78 there were some African ( from Congo???)T-28s at Biggin. Have severalpics of those too.

The Antonov reggie/serials were:

S/R(or if you prefer CCCP-)47329, 47330, 47331, 47332 and 47323 according to my log for the time.

Nice, Paul. Sadly I didn't get shots of the Antonovs. My mate and I - he worked for the BAA - drove down to see them but I without my camera! :(. They are went on to the Cuban Air Force.

that isn't Redhill, by the way. Too many large buildings around. Southend?

Yet again my memory lets me down. Must have taken the Wessex at the same time as the Harvard Although, I do have several slides of Bristow choppers and BN-2 taken at their Redhill base. Includes Bell 212, Puma Wessex, Whirlwind and  Alouette III.

Do you remember the Ghanaian Wessex. There were two G-630 and G-631, one green and one in a white/yellow, I think? And then, of course, there were the ex-Heersflieger H-34s that came in via Gatwick.

Not sure I saw the Ghanian ones. Will have to check my logs. As for the German H-34 I have pics of the front ends once removed from the rest when they were converted to turbine power. Will have a look for the pics and post here (or a fresh thread)with other Redhill stuff.

Saw a few of these way back. At Mildenhall and Northolt on various dates. All in the white and glossy OD colours with yellow serials on fin. Nice colourful days for the military.

I too remember the Fennecs and Mitchells at Blackbushe.

I was based at Odiham then. We had a film crew at Odiham

for part of Hanover street. Probably just some airfield shots?

I think I remember the Luftwaffe marked Ju52 as well.

Which film was that marked up for? I wonder.

Thanks for reviving some almost forgotten memories.
