That was very quick Patrice, looking good !

Forgot to mention the gun... if you're building an early aircraft, they generally carried no gun and had the muzzle faired over. The gun was reintroduced on Canadian Starfighters after they left the initial strike role and moved to conventional ground attack

Looking good, and almost finished I see. There's little that catches the eye as much as a natural metal F-104 in colourful markings !

The metalcote you used seems to be very good, the finish looks very realistic

Good morning Giorgio

Thank you very much for your comment ..

I am very fond of NMF aircraft and the Humbrol Metalcote is very useful for painting ..

Bonsoir Patrice,

it seems I caught the tail end of your build! Great looking Starfighter by the way. It is incredibly colorful and sober at the same time. I love it!

Did you brush paint the Humbrol Metalcote? Like you I really like this paint and it goes brilliantly with a dry brushing technique.

Almost finished!

Bonjour Jr

Thank you for your comments ..I only use brushes for painting ..

This week  I tried to paint the red band around the pitot tube boom but I failed and I will leave it like it is and place it to finish this build ...
