Not one of my most productive years, but I did get the following four models done this year:

Revell's 1/32nd scale Spitfire MkIIa:

My 1/32nd scratchbuilt Avro Shackleton project has also continued, albeit at a rather glacial pace, but it's getting there:

Have a great 2018 when we get there, folks!

lovely work Tom. The Revel spitfire brings back fond memories of building the old monogram kit that came in the same markings,  as a youngster

Good work there Tom, including the Shackleton which I had the good fortune to see at Telford, I think as shown in your photo - am I right?

Yes indeed - she's progressed no further since Telford as I'm at the point where I need to make the interior, and I hate making cockpit parts so keep putting it off!

Wow, where is the Shackleton going when finished, she’s a big Un

She'll live  in the attic with my other big 'uns - I'm rapidly running out of room though!

Nice work Tom. I take it the Stirling is very much on the back burner?

John

At the moment, John. I did have it out the other day as it happens and was considering re-starting it. I now have all of the internal references to do the interior, but I've already got quite a few builds on the go and have promised myself that I'll get my current projects (or at least some of them!) completed before I get back into this one...
