This weekends activities,

i made a start on putting together the tracks, I treated myself to a new drill bit. Unfortunately it got stuck, I need to get it out apart from

that they fit together nicely.

I also did one side of the sun shield brackets, I went for super glue rather than solder as there is a bit more to add on the other side.

I also hand painted the camouflage scheme.

Thanks Davey,

fair one a little slacking on my part,  ive been playing soldiers on Salisbury plain for the past 2 weeks hence the lack of progress. I will be able to focus on my Sherman now through till April.

Good to see more progress Ozzy and those tracks will look good when done!

Kind regards,

Stix

Thanks Stix,

the ones I have put together move really well, only need to add 79 for one side. If the price is right I may have to get some for my Panzer IV.

Those tracks look like simplicity itself ozzy,, (he says with envy)

Compared to the set you've just finished Glynn, the only complication I've got to deal with is my drill bit dilemma.

Nice work on the etch Ozzy. I know what a PITA it can be.

John.

Thanks John,

I'm pleased with the outcome, I thought the brackets that fix to the side of the hull were going to be a pain. But all fitted on without any trouble, it's the most etch I've every done on a model to date. Looking forward to the one.

With the tracks an enduring project, I thought I would focus on the crew. I have used a couple of Miniart sets, and over the weekend will populate the tank crew.
