stevej60
Great collection Ratch,I know I dabbled with a couple of these way back never realised they kitted a Napoleon figure at all. I loved the 54mm figures too I think the Rifleman was the first one I built.
Ratch
Cheers Steve, I think its a classic Airfix range that maybe could have been expanded over the years - Wellington, Churchill, Patton, Montgomery, William the Conqueror - though I wonder whether they would sell in sufficient quantities in today's market. I did try to encourage Airfix to re-issue the Boy Scout (the only one I'm missing), but was told "its a product of its time and wouldn't be reissued"

Ratch
The majority were tooled up between 59 & 79 - the odd one out is Dr Who from 2008
Homer
Lovely to see these old friends again I remember at school in the early 1960s some of these were used in history lessons along with various sailing ship models I just wish I had fond memories of the teacher concerned not a very nice person but we loved building them.
