orlando
Leaving aside my 1/72 aerobatic collection for a moment, I show you my most recent project: 1/18 Rey's speeder made from a 3 3/4 hasbro figure. Disarmed and completely rebuilt again, it has more than 100 new scratch pieces, including full cut of the figure for repositioning the body, and dozens of small pieces for more detail. The carrion bird (steelpecker), was made from Epoxy and wire, covered with fibers. (video) Also and to give it a touch of vividness, the speeder engines have 2x5mm red LEDs. The wiring and the battery are housed in the base of wood, especially made for this function. The speeder and fully diorama were painted with Vallejo Acrylics and an Infinity Harder & Steenbeck airbrush.Cheers! Gorby
I'm not into 'Star Wars', so I have no idea what it is, but I can recognise exceptional good modelling when I see it.
gunpowder17
Wow! Looks like a proper filming miniature. I recognise the tip of a control stick from a transmitter?

Beatea
Wow! This is beautiful! I seriously love some of the vehicles in the SWU, they are filthy and worn out and distressed and noisy, which makes them feel so real to me. You've nailed it.
Habu12
Aha! I see the top of a Futaba or Airtronics gimbal stick there. Nice touch. I think that's my favorite of all the work you did. All that stowage in the net. I'm not a big fan of TFA, but a fan of this work for sure!
Gimme Shelter
totally awesome model - I love it 110% The scavenger really adds to the completed diorama although I think its feathers are just about to get very ruffled up one the speeder passes past it. 10/10
mostrich
That is a beautiful work of art. The dymamic pose of the figure, the weathering of the halfway rotten machine, the bird... -what is there not to like? I can only gratulate!
