Fuad

1/72 Macchi M.C.72, S.B.S. model

Recommended Posts

Good day, gentlemen! Here I present you 1931 racing seaplane. The kit consists from resine details of very high quality, assembling the plane took me only a single weekend. Surface of details has rather bad adhesiveness therefore, I strongly recommend using primer.

That's lovely - a flying Ferrari! A few years ago I was lucky enough to see the real thing at the Vigna di Valle museum north of Rome (http://www.aeronautica.difesa.it/storia/museostorico/Pagine/default.aspx). They have the engine(s) displayed separately and the whole place is magnificent. You've made a fantastic model..

An apex of Italian industrial design! I was also lucky to visit the amazing Vigna di Valle museum (mentioned by Bedders above) a couple of years ago – a wonderful place and one time seaplane base.

Superb model of the Macchi (pronounced 'Makki', not 'Mattji' as some people think)!

Kind regards,

Joachim
