-The weather is chilly, snowy, windy , cloudy ...Well ....we are in winter and close to Christmas, so, no outside photo for now.

- Only these two of this  unfinished camouflaged Foxbat I eagerly wanted to add to my own VVS with the help of from Stenka of Cold WAR STUDIO and AKAN paints, more Begemot decals to be added in a near process..

Wow, a coloured Foxbat... beautiful, much more than the grey one to my eyes.

Great job, I'll wait for the next step.

So RBF had the late style airbrake and the lips on the air intakes, interesting news for me, I'm not an expert around Foxbats, thanks.

Ciao.

Very nice camo! What colours did you use?

I have built an RBF converting the nose of RBT from ICM. Is that an ICM model?

- The kit is the ICM one and I used AKAN paint ref: 63013 - 63024 - 63096 - interior green H 58 wiith a drop of brown from Hobby colors. The underside is the standard Foxbat/Foxhound grey

looks great!

any issues with the conversion?

did you use the cockpit dials as well?

- I've used the CWS dials after coating white te back side it very  well matches the kit board. For the nose ,no particular issue, just thin the inside enough to fit the kit fuselage joint, the masking tapes for  the dialelectrics panel are  top fitting.....but take care when you remove them they may peel off the paint...

The nose of the RBT is different from the RBF. I had to fill some places with putty and rescribe some new panels to my build.

Do you have any photos of RBF with the same nose as RBT?

-The noses make the main external differences between RBT and RBT; The ICM kit is definitlly an RBT with camera portholes  and some bulges onthe sides. The RBF has the similarly shaped nose , without the camera of course but new dielectrical panels

These are for an RBT camera windows

- This one may not be  an RBF but still another version owing to the size of the dielectrical panel, but the shape of the nose is a look alike

- These are for  an RBF. To be added  very few if not none RBT were camouflaged

I'm sorry I didn't see well from the photos of your build!

You have made the conversion. And it's a good one!

I also built mine using Begemot decals and I followed theis instructions about the colours.

This is the camo I did:

Hello. Here this plane, after transferring to another military unit. There is no gray color in the camouflage of this plane, only the lower surfaces.

number is very large, I think.

- It could possibly be, I uses  BEGEMOT Mig 25 dedicated decals sheet, I will slightly fade them during weathering this may reduce the gloss of the decals giving a fake reduce aspect of the numbers, But more annoying ,thanks to your photos, I've noticed that I have settled the VVS yellow winged badge too far rear under the wing on the right  intake side . It is too late to rectify this as I have no more correct  logo and its requires some suplementary painting job always risky on a finished model. I think I will live with this. Only the specialists of the machine could  notice that ....Whatever, thank you for your comment....

I helped Behemoth with photos, when creating this decal. Previously, I did not pay attention to the number, although I have a model and a decal.

Yes, it's one of Begemot options. Nice camo, also.

Yes, I know. I just choosed the first camo. But I also like the one that IPMS19 does.

Unfortunately you made a mistake with one color, in camouflage there should not be a gray color.

I followed Begemot's instructions. If they are wrobg, then I am wrong too. When there are not any photographs of the real plane, the I follow the instructions.

So the Behemoth does not have a gray color. Only the lower surfaces are painted in gray.

Ah, a cheating Monsieur Jean-Michel, huh...? :fight: How's it going, my mate? Way too chilly up there in Tulle?

You've got a taste for the Russian subjects, don't you? How come there wasn't any WIP right from the start of your build, as you've always spoilt us by doing before, sir?

Yeh, those correction bits by Stenka are just awesome. Great to see Mr Nazarov along for the ride!

That's a great-looking RBF.

Merry Christmas, J-M!

Cheers,

Unc2

P.S.: Hi there, Rom & Werner!
