Reini78
My dad is still on a 109 run, just finshed the Graf 109K now he has already started a new one. Gonna do a G-14 which was used in KG(J)54 for pilot training (KG(J)27 is possible too), maybe also for airfield security, later transferred to KG(J)6. Bomber pilots that converted to Me262 usually started training with old biplanes like He46, Go145..., then moved to 109s and the to the 262. DSC_0009 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr wrongly? designated as G-10, if it´s true a (partial) Werknummer is know which would be an Erla G-14 block DSC_0011 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr and already half on the way DSC_0010 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr

FloydWerner
Just remember that the subject you want to do is a G-14/AS from Erla. It has a different cowling arrangement than the one in the kit. Actually that conversion is available from MDC. The Erla G-14/AS features a flat plate in front of the cockpit on the left side. Unless I read that incorrectly and you are doing the bottom aircraft. Floyd

My dad goes for the latter one. Right in front of the windscreen on the fuselage side you see a light grey quadrant. Usually G-6 and G-14 look that way when the bulge is removed by mechanics or because of a crash. That´s why my dad decided in the end to do a G-14 and not an AS. https://www.flickr.com/photos/28092068@N03/12383500704 https://me109.info/display.php?from=site&lang=de&auth=e&name=version_display&fotonummer=12757
