Never realised series 6 was out until today, but just read a whole page of reviews for said series  - not one good review amongst them, all of the same opinion as yours, so, thats one boxed set I shall not be buying....incidently their is one full episode of series 6 on Youtube, but shall not bother with it

From "Hill St Blues"  (best police show ever apart from NYPD Blue)

Bruce Weitz as Detective Mick Belker, The toughest cop in the station who was also a loving son.

He'd be berating a suspect at his desk "Would you like to sit down hairball, or would you prefer internal bleeding?" the phone would ring and it would be Hi Ma........

Agreed. I have every series on a memory stick somewhere. Daniel Travanti (Frank Furillo) was my favourite cast member. Super cool no matter what the situation.

I think Veronica Hamel might've had something to do with that....

Jaqueline Pearce (Servalan) in Blakes 7. She was well tidy  - especially in that slinky white number she wore regularly. Oh yes, Paul Darrow (Avon) same series. Real anti- Hero type. Totally amoral and you never knew quite which side he was on (apart from his own!!) . The entire cast of Secret Army but, especially Clifford Rose (Sturmbannfuhrer Kessler). The entire cast of I, Claudius but, especially Derek Jacobi

Allan

ps - Ian Richardson (as Francis Urquhart in House of Cards  and, Major Neuheim several other characters in Private Schulz!)

pps - Anthony Valentine (Major Horst Mohn in Colditz). Actually, Valentine, like Richardson was good in ANY role!!

ppps - too many others to mention:lol::lol:

Although strictly speaking Palmer is a film chracter from Len Deighton's books so probably outside the remit of this topic. :-)

Heres a link to one of my hot favourites..........................has to be a link in case it raises temperatures and the mods take it down!!!!!!

http://nightflight.com/wp-content/uploads/ELVIRA-SHOW-2.jpg

An old-fashioned style horror movie marathon, hosted and commentated on by the Mistress of the Dark herself, Elvira.

With the delectable Mary Hinge, once Cupid departed the show...

There is a really good doco on ewechoob about Kenny. He says it took the beeb a long time to work out the spoonerism of Cupid and demanded changes...

Loved Kenny's work! Brilliant chap.
