Pelican
Hello, This is the old Matchbox/Revell 1/32 Spitfire 22/24. The cockpit, guns, wheels and decals are after-market parts. IMHO this kit is way too wrong to get a good Spitfire whitout a tremendous amount of work. The nose shape is wrong, the windscreen too, not sure about the propeller, panel lines... I regret having started it, anyway it is done, it is now displayed at the back my scalemodel showcase. cheers Edited December 8, 2017 by Pelican

keith in the uk
Well I am glad you finished it because it looks great The kit is not as bad as you think , yes the nose is wrong but this can be sorted out with the update set from Warbirds or Master casters ( not sure which but I know there is one out there ) panel lines can be addressed with some scribing , cockpit canopy is wrong shape but I see you have reshaped yours , I think Frightdog produce a replacement , worst aspect of this kit has to be the undercarriage legs which are very weak and prone to breakage white metal replacements perhaps ? Any way all in all a very nice job.
gingerbob
The kit IS as bad as you think, but the build does a superb job of hiding that fact!
