shatters
Evening all Might sound stupid but I've only just discovered that Italian cr42's took part in the battle of Britain. This leaves me with 2 questions - Which mark of cr42 was used ? And are there any 1/72 decals available for any battle of Britain aircraft, or hopefully the aircraft that landed on the Suffolk coastline on 11 November 1940 ? Many thanks in advance Phil

(I'm not much upon the CR 42) next "fiat cr42 battle of britain decals" some useful links in that. there maybe a better option than the Sky sheet, I'll post more if I run across it. Ah just remembered, Classic Airframes did these marking in the 2nd version of the CR42 http://kits.kitreview.com/cr42reviewse_1.htm Quote 95 Squadriglia, 18 Gruppo, 56 Stormo, Belgium, circa Oct.1940. This aircraft has the “Fiat Scheme” with a yellow cowling and spinner. Again the camouflage pattern on the wing top is more of a more elongated slash shape. The rudder has the white cross. Trevor has just posted the short, hopefully the above will still be of use cheers T

DP Caspar did a sheet of Italian aircraft in the Battle of Britain, but unfortunately it seems to have sold out.
shatters
Having had another look, it looks like the sky models sheet might do. As far a models, I think the standard italeri cr42 should do the trick. Phil
