Airfix 1/48 Ju87 Stuka

Recommended Posts

Okay, here we go, first time post of my most recent build.  I hope this works.  I didn't think much of the two schemes that came specified with the kit itself, so I decided to give it a generic desert camo finish instead.

Excellent, looks smart in the desert camo, did you use luftwaffe or Italian colours?

Cracking work, lovely finish. I fairly recently finished its predecessor, the early 80's moulding - which was okay but yours is fab!

I am 50-something years old and I have NEVER built a model aircraft.

However, if I were going to, it would be this kit. So I just happened to search 'stuka' and found this topic.

I'm glad that I did.

Stunning work! And what an advert for an the old Airfix

ps Nice to hear Lemmy RIP. A very nice bloke with an incredible memory. I had the pleasure of meeting him and having a pint with him.
