Redboost Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Hi folks, this is another quick addition to my IAF collection, the old 'n' good Hasegawa kit built OOB except CMK resin wheels and an ordnance taken from my spares box. The decals for 105.sq. machine from Operation 'Kadesh' comes from DP Casper sheet. Cheers Libor 46 1
Roman Schilhart Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 A different looking Mustang, and you've played around with your riveting tool again, didn't you Libor? Well, we all have our toys! Great work again, looking forward to meet you in Bratislava. By the way will the book on "Italian Aircraft" which you announced in summer already be available? Must have one of these .... cheers from VIE Roman
bearmatt Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Libortastic! I don't remember either Hasegawa's kit being so nicely detailed... ;-) Cheers b.
Winenut Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Lovely Libor. Very nice scheme indeed Where do all your finished kits go??? Cheers Bruce
Redboost Posted November 16, 2017 Author Posted November 16, 2017 Thanks for comments gents! Roman: yes, Rosie the Riveter raged again:-) Regarding the book AIR WAR OVER ITALY is available for couple of months now . See you! Bruce: good question:-), just two weeks ago I finished first part of my display cases exchange for new ones, custom made based on my own design. See below. Cheers Libor 15 1
Roman Schilhart Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Oh my goodness. A big boys' dream of plastic, wood and glass. You might open your house as an "Model Aircraft Museum" one day.
dfqweofekwpeweiop4 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Nice work! The Hasegawa P-51D is still quite a good kit and worth having for the right price. thanks Mike 1
Corsairfoxfouruncle Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Nice Mustang and in Israeli colors too 👍
Habu12 Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Moons of Jupiter, that's a palatial display case~
ArmouredSprue Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 lovely kit and an amazing display cabinet
kapam Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Beautiful Mustang, in a not-so-common scheme! Simply brilliant finishing and subtle weathering work. Awesome display cabinet too!
Trenton guy Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 As always, a really good and a really attractive build. Those shallow wheel wells don' offend so much with the main wheel wells closed (not an unusual configuration for P-51D's).
IanC Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Nice build. And what a beautiful collection. Incredible...
Redboost Posted November 20, 2017 Author Posted November 20, 2017 Thanks mates once again for kind comments! Cheers Libor
Duncan B Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I would pay good money to look in that display cabinet! Duncan B

Those display cases are beautiful. What an amazing collection. Is there any chance that in the future you may put together a picture book (or ebook) showing every model in your collection? Your Mustang looks fantastic.
Andre B Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 A Good looking IAF Mustang. What paints did you use? Building one too but an NMT based on the Airfix P-51D... https://www.ipmsstockholm.se/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9158&start=30 Impressive display cases! Cheers / André
