old thumper Posted November 12, 2017 Share Posted November 12, 2017 As soon as I am able to get back into modelling I will try and fill in some of the gaps in the Matchbox range. Watch this space ! Thanks for starting that Lysander build thread, however you haven't quite finished that Wimpy yet - you naughty boy!! This PK-7 Lysander now makes 50, yes 50 individual Matchbox kits being built (hacked?) in this current GB - well done to all. There's also indications of other great kits that are not on the above list also being started, so it's only onwards and upwards from here. Cheers.. Great Steve, So do I sign you up for another 10 on top of your already commited tally of 10?? At this rate, you could probably do a Group build on your own!! I think yourself, TonyW, tonyot, GREG DESTEC et al - have made many old (and hopefully new) modellers stop and take a second look at these great Matchbox kits. It would also appear that you've raised their value as I've only seen prices on the rise whilst visiting the various online websites. Cheers and good show.. Funny that's what I was thinking Dave, some of the small kit's are still reasonable well under ten pound's but I've noticed a hike in some re-stocked kit's on my favourite pre owned site,the Boston was £11:99 for a long time sold and a new arrival now £14:99 a lot of the smaller kit's now at the £10 mark where they were a couple of pound's cheaper,still If we want to build them we'll have to grin and bare it!
