michael301757
Hi everyone, thought you all might like to see the collection of our late member Ronnie who sadly passed away in september 2013,during the latter years of his illness Ron was unable to continue modelling or participate in the forums ,consequently many of his models which were built over a long period of time have never been posted before. This seems to be a good time to show them as Rons widow is shortly moving to Australia to join her family and the whole collection is being shipped with her, fingers crossed they survive ok.Sorry if picture quality is not that good as there are reflections in the cabinets plus my photographic skills are not that great.Thank you Ron for 50 years of wonderful memories. bzn20
What a memorial. The quality and quantity. Good luck getting it all to Oz. Great the she's taking it all, might be worth finding some downunder Bm'ers for any repairs, re-fixing. What was his BM name? Thanks for showing and .. RIP Ronnie

stevehnz
Thanks for sharing those, I'm guessing 1/48 & bigger? Certainly an impressive collection, I wouldn't want the job of packing that lot up, great that they're making the journey though & nice that that Ron's son will get to enjoy his Dads collection. Bell209
Indeed. What strikes me is, like all of us, the improvement in skills over the years is very evident in these models. He was obviously a very talented modeller at the time of his death. Some great subjects there, too!

Petegtr77
Dads models have arrived. For the most part they are all intact. A couple of repairs have been done, just wheelhouse doors etc, and a few pitto tubes missing but all looking good. I shall try and get some pictures up when I get time :0)
