Habu12
Wow this just came up on my feed again. Well now that I’ve built the Eduard kit, I can fully confirm that they did in fact step up their gane, and the Eduard Mustang is a gem!
Hairtrigger
Stunning... I love the weathering done to perfection. I've done the 1:72 Airfix Mustang and looking at yours may we'll get that kit...

whiskey
@Habu12, what was the paints and process you used for these two beauties? This is exactly how I would like mine to turn out. Edited April 12, 2020 by whiskey

I preshade with Mr. Surfacer Black 1500, and add the base colors on top, varying for effect. Then I weathered the stains with Tamiya weathering sets A,B,C,D after a coat of Dullcote. Then I add another coat of Dullcote to seal it. Edited April 12, 2020 by Habu12

The predshade and dullcote steps probably are the single most items I need to know. That dullcote really gives it the flatter finish which I absolutely love. Thank habu!
