Romeo Alpha Yankee
I have started my next build, the new tool C-47 from Airfix. I have a self-imposed deadline of 10 Nov so this will be a quick one I hope. Decals are from the DK sheet from my last C-47 build and a simple SWPTO colour scheme of over Olive Drab over grey. The build has progressed rapidly over the last couple of days and I hope to share some pictures soon. Box shot as per last entry...

Romeo Alpha Yankee
Thanks Cliff, day 3 of the build and it is progressing nicely. Lots of parts in the interior Which go together nicely Some paint goes on In my haste, I think something got misaligned so some persuasion required to get the fuselage together ckr Persuasion removed and some seams puttied and finally on with the engine assembly I must say the kit is nicely engineered, if I slowed down a little no doubt I would get a better fit. I am sure it will look OK when finished. Pictured with a few other distractions to keep thing interesting
janneman36
Those are some very NICE distractions...and those Airfix C47s are the easyest ones to build to a correct looking Dakota...

Graeme H
Well despite all the criticism directed at this kit, it sure looks like a C-47, very nice

nimrod54
Great looking model Ray, nice work on drilling out the exhaust. I also like the group shot, models seem to look even better when they are displayed as part of a themed collection like that.

Romeo Alpha Yankee
The Convair build is on the shelf of doom at the moment Martin ( @RidgeRunner ), I had some major problems with paint and it is in the process of being stripped back. I have a build thread here: I have not updated it in a while
