Hello everybody ... So I’m calling this one finished. Its an old AMT Staggerwing that was unloved for about 2 years. I finished in the guise of war weary plane bought by a veteran, to start a bush flying service. I used my Brothers name as he loved the outdoors and would’ve loved Alaska. Sadly he passed 8 years ago this February. So here it is in all its glory.

Well thats it for this build. Hope everyone likes the idea behind it.

Continuing with the Finnish Messerschmitt- theme, here's my attempt in modelling one with an AZmodel 1:72 kit. The MT-471 was assigned to 3. Flight of the Fighter Squadron 24, 3./HLeLv 24 and it was one of just two /AS- planes in the Finnish Air Force. The pictures are highly inaccurate as the plane never carried full Eastern front markings in the winter time. And for various other reasons too

AZmodel insignia, inSCALE 72 codes, brush painted with Humbrol enamels. Thanks to Enzo Matrix for setting up the opportunity to Fin'n'ish this! Best regards, V-P

English Electric Deltic Prototype (DP1)

Kitmaster/Dapol OO Gauge

Extras used

Decals and Etch Metal Parts - Fox Transfers

Screw Couplings - Smiths

Vac-form windows - Finecast

Paint

Body - Phoenix Precision P110 Prototype Deltic Blue

Roof/Bogies - Humbrol 128

Details - Citadel, Humbrol, Mr Color

This was a failed completion in last years Made in Britain II Group Build and I decided to enter it in KUTA X. I didn't add a lot to the kit other than a couple of Smiths couplings, a set of vac-formed windows and some decals and etch manufactures plates.
