Lovely. As I think I’ve said before, one of my favourite counterfeit Canberras.

Now for a WB ? https://www.nasa.gov/missions/research/b-57_feature.html

oh, like the addition of the ground crew member too. Gives it a nice sense of scale.

Hello,John - I put a Trophy up to your photos because I think that’s what you deserve for this fabulous build.

She not only looks but is a stunning model and a real piece of creative modelling.

Now you’ll be putting together a Storage Hangar for her!?

 Great work in every sense.

😉👍👏 All The Very Best,Paul.

John,

You should be locked up for your own good- you sure did a great job on this one! Never really realized what a huge wing that version had, even more so in 1/48! Soooo, what's next?

Great build - have been following this and thoroughly enjoyed the process.  Now I have a 1/48 HAS and a PR9 and that won’t fit - wonder if the RB57D would fit in one of these.  Designed for U2 / TR1 at Alconbury

Thanks Graham, I have been mulling over the idea of an F the wings and fin are ok (ish) the stumbling block would be the bigger cowlings for the fan, but I do think we will see another  D roll off the line next year :)

A lot of work has gone into this John and it shows, another superb build and the figures just round it off lovely, sort of brings it alive.

Gary.

Thanks Gary, it was a bit of a slog at times, but a fun build.

Thanks Paul, hanger space may be an issue, especially if I build another one :)

Thanks very much Mike, she is a big bird in 1/48 and all the better for it :) I'm not sure what's next I may revive the 1/72 PR.3 I started just before I got bit by the D bug.

How many Canberras does that make now John? :D

Each as immaculate as the other.

Maybe it's the stark black and white scheme but this one seems particularly imposing.

Lovely work sir.

A very good question Tony, I have no idea I guess in 1/72 and 1/48 it will be in the high 50's low 60's :)

Tony I've just had a count of the 1/48 scale including this on it stands at 17 built, and about 10 in the stash.

Hi John.

Superb work she is a stunner !! Certainly a difference in size really is a large aircraft compared to a standard Canberra, so she will be at Telford for all to see in her glory ?

What's the next project then I wonder ??

Well done mate and nicely displayed. :goodjob:

All the best
